BRAZEAU, Mo. -- Virginia Louise Barber, 96, of Brazeau died Wednesday, April 13, 2005, at Perry County Nursing Home.
She was born April 30, 1908, in Perry County, Mo., daughter of Curtis and Margaret Luckey Barber.
Barber graduated from Perryville High School and the University of Missouri. She was a retired teacher, having taught in Altenburg, Mo., Brazeau and Sullivan, Mo. She was also a county home extension agent at Pilot Knob, Mo., Troy, Mo., Springfield, Mo., Bethany, Mo., and Greenfield, Mo.
Barber was a life member of Brazeau Presbyterian Church. She was also a member of University of Missouri Extension Club, Brazeau Extension Club, Daughters of the American Revolution and the Perry County Historical Society.
Survivors include four nephews, John, Bob, Don and Rodney Barber.
She was preceded in death by two brothers.
Friends may call from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Brazeau Presbyterian Church.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
