SEDGEWICKVILLE -- Violet Viola Hartle, 77, Sedgewickville Route 1, died Thursday, March 17, 1994, at her home. She was born Oct. 30, 1916, at Lixville, daughter of Louis and Ida Bollinger Fellows. She and Leslie Hartle were married Nov. 3, 1948. He died Sept. 18, 1993...

SEDGEWICKVILLE -- Violet Viola Hartle, 77, Sedgewickville Route 1, died Thursday, March 17, 1994, at her home.

She was born Oct. 30, 1916, at Lixville, daughter of Louis and Ida Bollinger Fellows. She and Leslie Hartle were married Nov. 3, 1948. He died Sept. 18, 1993.

Hartle worked at International Shoe Co. in Jackson 10 years. She was a member of Sedgewickville United Methodist Church and Sedgewickville Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.

Survivors include a son, Richard "Rick" Hartle of Sedgewickville; three sisters, Ella Oster of Perryville, Ethel Schwab of Jefferson City, Dorothy Proffer of Jackson, and two granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Howard Hardeman officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery at Jackson.
