PERRYVILLE, Mo. — Viola E. Watts, 86, of Perryville died Saturday, Oct. 18, 2008, at Independence Care Center of Perry County.
She was born Nov. 6, 1921, in Arkansas, the daughter of James W. and Mahalie Probst Sutton. She and James B. Watts were married Jan. 28, 1939. He died Dec. 4, 1999.
She was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include two sons, James Watts and Sam Watts, both of Perryville; and a daughter, Betty Herford of Angleton, Texas; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, two granddaughters, a grandson, a brother and a sister.
Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 6:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Tuesday at Young and Sons Chapel in Perryville.
The funeral is at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral chapel. Burial will be at Oak Forest Cemetery in Black Rock, Ark.
