Viola Marie Palmer, 75, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, March 29, 1999, at St. Francis Medical Center.
She was born Feb. 27, 1924, in Baldwin, Ill., daughter of George and Justine Prange Pfannebecker. She first married William L. Cox, who died in 1952. She later married Roscoe W. Palmer, who died in 1987.
Palmer was a member of Evangelical United Church of Christ.
Survivors include a son, Orvel Cox of Dunlap, Ill.; a daughter, Rosemary Mills of San Marcos, Calif.; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel. The Rev. Jim Caughlan will officiate. Burial will be in Baldwin Cemetery at Baldwin.
