JACKSON -- Funeral for Viola B. Holtkamp of Jackson will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau. The Rev. Scott Lohse will officiate. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
Friends may call at the chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.
Holtkamp, 83, died Saturday, March 27, 1999, at Cushing Memorial Hospital in Leavenworth, Kan.
She was born Sept. 26, 1915, in North Kingstown, R.I., daughter of Charlie C. and Blondie B. Carr Fields. She first married Harold J.S. Harvey July 24, 1937, in Rhode Island. He died Nov. 6, 1950. She and Raymond R. Thomas were married in 1970 in Cape Girardeau. He died Dec. 26, 1980. She later married George Holtkamp June 16, 1982, in Cape Girardeau. He died Feb. 2, 1991.
Holtkamp had been a purchasing agent for the U.S. Army at the Army Post in Leavenworth. She moved to Leavenworth in 1951 and to Jackson in 1980.
She was a member of New McKendree United Methodist Church in Jackson, National Association of Retired Federal Employees, and the Better Breathers Club in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include a sister-in-law, Edna Thomas of Cape Girardeau.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
