SIKESTON -- Viola Hatchett, 59, of Sikeston, died Sunday, Feb. 4, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born May 18, 1936, in Sikeston, daughter of Columbus and Viola Washington Hatchett.

Hatchett was a member of St. John Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Dennis Hatchett of Sikeston, Calvin Hatchett of Oklahoma City, Okla.; a sister, Bobbie Hatchett of Sikeston; two brothers, James Hatchett of Raleigh, N.C., A.C. Hatchett of Zanesville, Ohio, and 11 grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. John Church, with Calvin Hatchett officiating. Burial will be in Sunset of Memories Cemetery.

Friends may call Saturday at the church from 11 a.m. to service time.

Williams-Farr and Purnell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
