Viola Beal, 96, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, April 5, 2001, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born Feb. 15, 1905, at Oak Ridge, Mo., daughter of Hinckle and Ada Crites McLean. She and Harold Vest Beal were married June 3, 1922. He died Jan. 23, 1963.
Beal was a salesclerk at Buckner-Ragsdale 47 years. She was a member of Maple United Methodist Church, American Legion Auxiliary to Post 63, VFW Auxiliary, and Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include seven cousins, Barbara Levine and Judy Meyr of Dallas, Texas, Marjorie Stearns of Perryville, Mo., Gene Wilcox of Las Vegas, Nev., Dean Ford of Oak Ridge, Mo., Mary Belle Niswonger of Cape Girardeau, and Noma Noland of Jackson, Mo.
Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson from 9-11 a.m. Saturday.
Funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
