Funeral service for Vincent S. Kight, 2501 Janet, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. The Rev. Patrick Tankersley and Chris Caywood will officiate, with burial in Morgan Memorial Park Cemetery at Advance.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.

Kight, 23, was found dead Tuesday, April 19, 1994, in Bollinger County.

He was born Sept. 22, 1970, in Cape Girardeau, son of Scott and Sheila Harnes Kight.

Kight was a 1988 graduate of Central High School, and had attended Southeast Missouri State University. He was a member of Lynwood Baptist Church.

He was a route driver with Cape Girardeau Mailing Service, and worked in the transportation office at Southeast University.

Survivors include his father and stepmother, Scott and Cathy Kight of Jackson; mother and stepfather, Sheila and Larry Gray of Scott City; a brother, Chad Kight of Jackson; a sister, Erica Kight of Jackson; a stepbrother, Trent Gray of Cape Girardeau; two stepsisters, Rhonda Gray of Jackson, Tammy Gray of Scott City; paternal grandmother, Pauline Kight of Delta; maternal grandparents, James and Mildred Harnes of Advance; stepgrandparents, Jim and Joyce Overby of Bernie, and Forrest and Betty Gray of Scott City.
