Victor Lee Rhodes, 72, of Cleveland, Miss., died Tuesday, March 9, 1993, in Bolivar County Hospital in Cleveland.
He was born Dec. 27, 1919, at Whitewater, son of H. Lee and Sophia Dankel Rhodes. He and Ruth Bouler were married Feb. 23, 1976, in Memphis, Tenn.
He had worked in general construction for R.B. Potashnick, and had been a pipefitter in Texas. He had lived in Whitewater and Memphis, moving to Cleveland seven years ago. He was a member of Church of God of International.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Willard Rhodes of Alta Rio, Calif.; a brother, Harrison Rhodes of Whitewater; a sister, Florence Hitt of St. Louis, and three grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. The Rev. Arvil Huffman will officiate, with burial in the Methodist Cemetery at Whitewater.
