Vickie Bevil

ANNA, Ill. -- Vickie L. Bevil, 56, of Anna died Wednesday, May 4, 2005, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.

She was born May 16, 1948, in Cairo, Ill., daughter of Carroll and Gladys R. Sharp Thompson. She and Orbie G. Bevil were married in Elco, Ill.

Bevil had worked at the shoe factory in Anna. She was a member of Anna Heights Baptist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Deanna Bevil of Tarpon Springs, Fla., and her father of Anna.

She was preceded in death by her husband and her mother.

Friends may call at Hileman Funeral Home in Jonesboro, Ill., from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Scott Harner officiating. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.
