TAMMS, Ill.-- Vernon R. Nipper, 63, of Tamms died Saturday, Aug. 23, 1997, at Ven-Cor Hospital in St. Louis. He was born May 22, 1934, in Pomona, the son of Albert and Lettie Wilmouth Nipper. Survivors include four brothers, Richard and Roscoe Nipper, both of Carbondale, and Merle and Eugene Nipper, both of Granite City; and three sisters, Frances Krepps of Cary, Mary Hodges of Melrose Park and Eileen Nipper of Island Lake...

Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at Lutz & Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bill Vandergraph officiating. Burial will be in Alto Pass Cemetery.
