MARBLE HILL -- Verla T. Lincoln, 79, of Marble Hill died Saturday, Oct. 4, 1997, at Bond Nursing Care.
She was born June 16, 1918, in Hurricane, daughter of James and Elmine Upchurch Trentham. She married Milford Lincoln on March 21, 1936, at the Bollinger County Courthouse. He survives.
She was a housewife and member of Hurricane Fork General Baptist Church.
She is survived by a son, Michael Lincoln of Marble Hill; a daughter, Violet Huff of Melville; a brother, Clifton Trentham of Marble Hill; a sister, Eula Lincoln of Marble Hill; and a grandson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and a sister.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today at Hutchings Funeral Chapel.
Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral chapel, with the Revs. Buford Rhodes and Bobby Trentham officiating. Burial will be in Hurricane Fork Cemetery.
