DEXTER -- Verla Mae Parker, 62, of Dexter died Monday, April 17, 2000, at Dexter Memorial Hospital.
She was born April 1, 1938, in Ash Hill, daughter of Clarence and Pansy Gilpin Macom. She and Robert L. Parker were married Feb. 23, 1957, in Brockton, Mass.
Parker lived in St. Louis, Massachusetts, and Maine before moving to Dexter in 1990.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Patricia Lamphier of Panama City, Fla.; her mother, Pansy Holt of Dexter; three brothers, Eli Macom of Reno, Nev., John Macom of Blue Hill, Maine, Earl Macom of Morrill, Maine; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter is in charge of arrangements.
