IRONTON -- Verba E. Wigger, 88, of Ironton died Saturday, Sept. 26, 1998, at the Baptist Home in Ironton.
She was born April 9, 1910, at Hartville, daughter of George R. and Florence M. "Todd" Hoff.
She was a retired inspector for a film processing company. She was a member of First Baptist Church of De Soto.
Survivors include three sons, George Edward Wigger of Cypress, Texas, James Orvil Wigger and Kenneth Wayne Wigger, both of De Soto; three daughters, Alleen Mildred Glick of St. Louis, Shirley Ann Patterson of Cape Girardeau and Patsy DeClue of De Soto; a brother, Lawson Joseph Hoff of Winston, Ore.; 20 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Baptist Home Chapel in Ironton. The Rev. Tommy Harper will officiate, with burial in the Oakland Baptist Cemetery near De Soto.
White Funeral Home in Ironton is in charge of arrangements.
