Vera M. Rollins, 64, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, May 6, 2002, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born June 9, 1937, in Waverly, Ark., daughter of the Rev. J.L. and Grace Mocassin Nabors. She and Vernon Rollins were married May 12, 1979, in Cape Girardeau.
Rollins attended Lincoln School in Sikeston, Mo. She was a private duty nurse. Rollins was a member of House of Prayer Church and had served as a missionary, Sunday School teacher, and usher.
Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Audrey Mhoon and Aleisha Nabors of Cape Girardeau, Renee Nabors of Sikeston; six sisters, Joyce McKinney and Florida Nabors of Sikeston, Tina Nabors and Linda Nabors of Milwaukee, Wis., Clarinda Palmer of Baton Rouge, La., and Leatha Foster of Alton, Ill.
Also surviving are nine brothers, James, Lee, the Rev. L.J., and Lynn Nabors, all of Sikeston, the Rev. Roy, the Rev. Benjamin, Tommy and David Nabors, all of Milwaukee, and Calvin Nabors of Raleigh, N.C.
She was preceded in death by a son, her parents, and stepmother.
Friends may call at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Sikeston from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday.
Funeral will be at noon Saturday at the church. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery at Sikeston.
Williams-Farr and Purnell Funeral Home at Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.
