ORAN -- Vera G. Patterson, 95, of Ballwin died Wednesday, Oct. 6, 1999, at St. Luke's Hospital in Chesterfield. She was born July 13, 1904, in Tuckerman, Ark., daughter of Alvin and Cora Coker Reeves. She and G.K. Patterson were married Nov. 11, 1919. He died June 12, 1974...

ORAN -- Vera G. Patterson, 95, of Ballwin died Wednesday, Oct. 6, 1999, at St. Luke's Hospital in Chesterfield.

She was born July 13, 1904, in Tuckerman, Ark., daughter of Alvin and Cora Coker Reeves. She and G.K. Patterson were married Nov. 11, 1919. He died June 12, 1974.

Patterson owned and operated a resale store in Chaffee and Oran. She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church at Oran, Oran Garden Club, and Order of Eastern Star 342 in Morley.

Survivors include six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, a daughter, a sister, and a half sister.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran after noon Saturday.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Bennie Wilsey officiating. Burial will be in Friend Cemetery.
