JONESBORO, Ill. -- Vera Evelyn Tanner, 61, Jonesboro Route 1, died Wednesday, June 17, 1992, at Union County Hospital in Anna. She was born March 10, 1931, in Alto Pass, daughter of Melvin and Alma Elizabeth Fox Tellor. She married Floyd Tanner. Survivors include her husband; three sons, Mike Tanner of Mountain Glenn, Pete Tanner of Cobden, Herman Tanner of Jonesboro; her mother of Anna; four brothers, Henry Tellor of Jonesboro, Walter Tellor of Dongola, Alfred Tellor of Mountain Glenn, Donnie Tellor of Vienna; three sisters, Ella Smith of Dongola, Esther Barker of Anna, Agnes Friese of Alto Pass, and 11 grandchildren.. ...

Friends may call at Norris and Son Funeral Home from 6-9 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Alto Pass Cemetery.
