ORAN, Mo. -- Vennie Marie Daniel, 93, of Oran passed away Thursday, Nov. 6, 2014, at her home. She was born Aug. 26, 1921, in Hartman, Arkansas, to Hiram and Minnie Acord Ritchie. She and Mathie D. Daniel were married March 19, 1941. He preceded her in death Aug. 29, 2000...

ORAN, Mo. -- Vennie Marie Daniel, 93, of Oran passed away Thursday, Nov. 6, 2014, at her home.

She was born Aug. 26, 1921, in Hartman, Arkansas, to Hiram and Minnie Acord Ritchie. She and Mathie D. Daniel were married March 19, 1941. He preceded her in death Aug. 29, 2000.

Survivors include two sons, Randy (Linda) Daniel of Benton, Missouri, and Steven (Robyn) Daniel of High Ridge, Missouri; seven grandchildren, Kristan, Jeremy, Stephanie, Samantha, Sammy, Ali and Trevor; six great-grandchildren, Taylor, Greyson, Mackenzie, Allie, Andrew and Anniston.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, two brothers, three sisters and a grandson.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. until time of service Monday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the chapel, with the Rev. Larry Jackson officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens in Morley, Missouri.
