ADVANCE, Mo. -- Velma Friedrich, 81, of Viburnum, Mo., formerly of Advance, died Friday, Dec. 6, 2002, at Salem Memorial Hospital in Salem, Mo.
She was born July 3, 1921, at Steele, Mo., daughter of Frank and Beulah Belle Rawls Miller. She and Roy Friedrich were married Dec. 31, 1940, at Perkins, Mo.
She was a member of the Christian Church of Viburnum and the Order Eastern Star of Bell City.
Survivors include her husband of the home; two daughters, Phyllis Ragsdale of Deep Water, Mo., and Marilyn Sue Sellers of Viburnum; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by one son and one brother.
Friends may call from 5:30 to 8 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. George Civey officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Advance.
