Velma B. Kiehne, 74, of St. Charles, died Wednesday, Nov. 9, 1994, at St. Joseph Health Center in St. Charles. She was born Feb. 1, 1920, in Jackson, daughter of William H. and Ester Seabaugh Godwin. She and Robert Carl Kiehne were married Aug. 15, 1940, in Cape Girardeau...

Velma B. Kiehne, 74, of St. Charles, died Wednesday, Nov. 9, 1994, at St. Joseph Health Center in St. Charles.

She was born Feb. 1, 1920, in Jackson, daughter of William H. and Ester Seabaugh Godwin. She and Robert Carl Kiehne were married Aug. 15, 1940, in Cape Girardeau.

The Kiehnes lived in Cape Girardeau before moving to St. Charles about 40 years ago.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Ronald Kiehne of St. Charles; two sisters, Annis Heuer and Helen Edwards of Cape Girardeau, and four grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Barry Pfanstiel officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
