VADER COOKSON

PUXICO -- Vader Cookson, 83, of Puxico died Friday, Nov. 10, 1995, at Lucy Lee Hospital in Poplar Bluff.

He was born Aug. 31, 1912, near Puxico, son of Henry Clay and Rosena Payton Cookson.

He had been a resident of Puxico all his life. He was a retired farmer and attended the Life Chapel Assembly of God Church in Puxico.

On Aug. 20, 1938, he married Eva Lois Klaffer of Puxico. She survives.

He is also survived by a son, Dellis Cookson of Puxico; a daughter, Carolyn Roberson of Charlotte, N.C.; a brother, Fred Cookson of Puxico; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

A sister and three brothers preceded him in death.

Friends may call at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico after 6 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gary Green officiating. Burial will be in the Brown Cemetery near Puxico.
