CHARLESTON -- Tyrone Lamont Gillespie, 15, of Charleston, died March 4, 1995, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston. CHARLESTON -- Tyrone Lamont Gillespie, 15, of Charleston, died March 4, 1995, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

He was born May 29, 1979, in St. Louis, the son of Larry Gillespie and Lena Quinn Gillespie of Charleston.

Gillespie was a freshman at Charleston High School and a member of the Mercy Seat Baptist Church.

Survivors include three brothers, Stacy Donnel Andrews and Larry Lenell Andrews of Bloomington, Ill., and Michael Thomas Andrews of Charleston; two sisters, Carolyn Andrews of Charleston and Vickie Shackelford of Carlyle, Ill.; and his maternal grandmother, Ella Quinn of Charleston.

Friends may call from 7-8 p.m. today at Sparks Funeral Home in Charleston.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Mercy Seat Baptist Church, with the Rev. J.L. Posey officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Charleston.
