CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Tull A. Garner, 83, of Gravois Mills, Mo., died Friday, Sept. 22, 2006, at his home.
He was born May 19, 1923, in Promise Land, Ark., son of Marion and Fannie Garner.
Garner was employed 30 years by General Motors in St. Louis. He was a member of VFW Post 3127 in Chaffee.
He served with the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II and the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife; Virginia; four daughters, Peggy Whitley of Rochester, Minn., Thanya Garner and Ann Perez of Lake St. Louis, Mo., Kathy Mueller of Gravois Mills; a son, Tull Garner of Harvester, Mo.; two sisters, Ruby Walden of Kennett, Mo., Sammie Poe of Chaffee; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by five brothers and a sister.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
Baue Funeral Home in St. Charles, Mo., is in charge of arrangements.
