PUXICO -- Truman Wright, 82, of Puxico died Thursday, April 29, 1999, at Brooks Army Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas.
He was born April 28, 1917, at Rombauer, son of Charlie and Sadie Wright. Wright and Bertie Crabb were married June 13, 1936, at Puxico.
Wright was a retired truck driver and a member of the Disabled American Veterans Chapter at Poplar Bluff.
He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Janice Reinert of Puxico, Faye Young of Jackson, Tenn.; two sons, Charles Wright of Florissant, Don Wright of Scott City; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Puxico.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Darrin Baker officiating. Burial will follow at the Puxico Cemetery.
