Truman V. Bollinger, 95, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, Oct. 8, 2009, at his home.

He was born May 19, 1914, in Marble Hill, Mo., to John and Minnie Proffer Bollinger. He and Ann Marie Grimes were married June 15, 1938, at Lutesville, Mo. She preceded him in death.

Mr. Bollinger sold automobiles in Cape Girardeau more than 25 years, working for Charlie Harris, Jerry Wieser Motor Co. and Bob Marrow Nissan.

He was a member of First Methodist Church of Marble Hill.

Survivors include a daughter, Nancy Ross and husband Chuck of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Dick Bollinger of Marble Hill; four sisters, Connie Mayfield, Belva Banta, Mary Lou Hanson, Hazel Hudson, all of Marble Hill; a grandchild, Wendy LaMont; and a great-grandchild, Brett LaMont.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Bill, Charlie and Carl Bollinger.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Michael Lockhart officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.

Memorial contributions may be given to First Methodist Church of Marble Hill.
