BENTON, Mo. -- Trudy Jane Hillyard, 56, of Benton and formerly of Sikeston, Mo., died Friday, June 9, 2006, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born Oct. 23, 1949, at Sikeston, daughter of John Everett and Pauline Beatrice Collins Moser.
Hillyard worked as a cashier for seven years at the Wal-Mart Super Center in Cape Girardeau. She attended Bement Baptist Church near Sikeston.
Survivors include four sons, John Hillyard of Seattle, Brian Hillyard of Star City, Ark., Devon Moser and Donovan Moser, both of Benton; a daughter, Miranda Goff of Holts Summit, Mo.; three brothers, John E. Moser Jr. of Augusta, Ga., Leroy Moser of Lilbourn, Mo., and James Moser of Kansas City; a sister, Shirley Duke of Torrance, Calif.; special friend, Jerry Groves of Benton; and six grandchildren.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Delbert Bishop officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
