SEDGEWICKVILLE -- Funeral service for Troy Paul Ackman, Sedgewickville Route 1, will be held at 1 p.m. today at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson. The Rev. Roy Michael will officiate, with burial in New Bethel Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 9 a.m. to service time.
Ackman, 72, died Sunday, Feb. 18, 1996.
He was born Oct. 21, 1923, at Neelys Landing, son of George and Maggie Robinson Ackman. He and Nova Felton were married Sept. 11, 1948, in St. Louis.
Ackman worked at Pillsbury Flour Co. in St. Louis 25 years. He moved back to this area in 1972 and retired from Lenco at Jackson in 1985. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Douglas Ackman of Essex, Michael and Mickey Ackman of Patton; a daughter, Ena Mayberry of Sedgewickville; 10 grandchildren, and two great-granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by a son, three brothers and four sisters.
