ANNA, Ill. -- Trevor Dawson Benefield, 4, of Anna died Friday, Aug. 3, 2007, at the Union County Hospital in Anna due to injuries from an automobile accident near Cobden, Ill.

He was born Feb. 16, 2003, in Marion, Ill., son of Stephen and Tonia Miller Benefield.

Survivors include his parents of Anna; maternal grandparents, John and Clarinda Miller of Anna; maternal great-grandmother, Marian Watkins of Anna; paternal grandparents, Paul and Tina Benefield of Lick Creek, Ill.; and paternal great-grandfather, Harold Gee of Lick Creek; paternal great-grandparents, Clifford and Minnie Benefield of Anna; and two special friends, Gracin Heath and Hunter McCommons.

He was preceded in death by maternal great-grandparents, maternal great-grandfather and paternal great-grandmother.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. Monday at Lutz and Rendelman Funeral Home in Anna.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Doug Atkins and David Nave officiating.

Burial will be in Ebenezer Hall Cemetery.
