Tot M. "Jack" Pender, 89, of Lakeland, Fla., died Monday, Sept. 30, 1991, at Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital in Milwaukee, Wis.
He was born in Illinois, son of Richard and Alice Pender. He married the former Myrle G. Grayum of Bernie.
Pender worked at International Shoe Co. here, moving away in 1939. He then worked at Marion Shoe Co., and the City of Marion, Ind. During World War II he was an inspector for the U.S. Government in Charlestown, Ind.
The Penders had lived in Florida 11 years. He was a Mason.
Survivors include his wife; a son, James Pender of Milwaukee; a brother, Hollin Pender of Cape Girardeau; three grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Memorial Park, with the Rev. Neil Stein officiating.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
