WYATT -- Funeral service for Tony Sevic of Wyatt will be held at 2 p.m. today at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. The Rev. Tom Bridges will officiate, with burial in IOOF Cemetery.
Sevic, 74, died Monday, Aug. 7, 1995, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
He was born Dec. 20, 1920, in Dardanelle, Ark., son of Joseph and Annie Sevic. He and Allene Hickey were married Dec. 22, 1948.
A resident of Mississippi County since 1945, he was a retired farmer. He was a member of VFW Post 4294 at Charleston. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Joe Sevic of Wyatt, David Sevic of Mayfield; a brother, Elmer Sevic of Charleston; two sisters, Annie Pendergrass of Paris, Ark., Josephine Goodall of Wyatt; four grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
