DELTA -- Tony K. Menz, 70, of Delta died Wednesday, Nov. 24, 1993, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born March 6, 1923, at Randles, the son of the late Joe and Sarah Smith Menz. On Sept. 2, 1941, he married Ellamae Beklund, who survives of the home.
He was retired after owning and operating the Delta Tavern for many years. He also was a member of the Chaffee C.B.ers club.
Survivors include a son, Ronald Menz of Delta; seven daughters, Carol Collins of Delta, Evelyn Waddle of Whitewater, Peggy Coomer of Brownwood, Brenda Brown of Delta, Donna Crowden of Cape Girardeau, Mary Jo Barlow of Chaffee, and Penny Coomer of Delta; two brothers, John Menz of Chaffee and Leo "Red" Menz of Bradley, Ill.; a sister, Geraldine Lancaster of Randles; 22 grandchildren; 12 step-grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Two brothers and three sisters also preceded him in death.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, where funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. Dan Tankersley will officiate, and burial will be in Fairview Cemetery near Arbor.
