EAST PRAIRIE -- Tommy Jeff Mansfield, 73, of ST. Louis, formerly of East Prairie, died Saturday, Feb. 26, 1994, at the St. Louis Regional Hospital.
He was born July 14, 1920, in Mississippi County, son of Fornie E. And Dellar M. Busby Mansfield.
He married Virginia M. Wilson in 1939.
Mansfield was a retired tree surgeon, who worked for the Shield Shade Tree Company in St. Louis.
Survivors include his wife; six sons, T.J. Mansfield, Larry Mansfield, Ronnie Mansfield, Terry Mansfield and Steven Mansfield, all of St. Louis, Chester Mansfield of Maplewood, Mo.; four daughters, Ann Mason of Tamaroa, Ill., Pamela Mansfield, Cheryl Mansfield and Charlotte Mansfield, all of St. Louis; a sister, Rhoda Lindsey of Kansas City, Mo.; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, a brother and three sisters.
Friends may call after 11 a.m. today at the Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie.

Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery near East Prairie.
