EAST PRAIRIE -- Tom Secoy, 91, of East Prairie, died Friday, Dec. 13, 1996 at the East Prairie Nursing Center.
He was born May 6, 1905, in Caruthersville, son of Lois Albert and Lillie Metcalf Secoy.
He married Mae Darnell on July 13, 1925. She preceded him in death Nov. 16, 1992.
He was a retired farmer. He was a member of the First Christian Church in East Prairie.
Survivors include four sons, Raymond Secoy of Pilot Knob, Jerry Secoy and Larry Secoy, both of East Prairie, and Billy Secoy of St. Louis; four daughters, Jeane Bowman and Sue Fox, both of Poplar Bluff, and Betty Carter and Pat Helms, both of East Prairie; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Service will be held today at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie at 1 p.m., with Bro. Martin Lucas of East Prairie officiating. Burial will be in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
He was preceded in death by a son, a grandson and granddaughter.
