ST. LOUIS -- Tom Rambo, 84, of St. Louis and formerly of Marble Hill, died Saturday, Oct. 5, 1996, at St. Anthony's Medical Center in St. Louis.
He was born April 20, 1912, in Lutesville, the son of Monroe and Cassie Ramsey Rambo.
He was a retired timber worker and trader.
Survivors include two daughters, Helen McMasters of Monticello, Ark., and Rita Eaker of Glen Allen; two brothers, Charlie Rambo of Bakersfield, Calif., and John Rambo of Momence, Ill.; two sisters, Ada Clubb and Annie Stone of Marble Hill; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, three brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Eldon Cowell officiating. Burial will follow in the New Trace Creek Cemetery near Glen Allen.
