Thomas Allen "Tom" Pace, 64, of Scott City died Thursday, June 21, 2012, at Life Care Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Oct. 17, 1947, in New Madrid County, to Samuel Harvey and Deloma Mae Parks Pace. He and Sandra Kay Kassel were married Aug. 1, 1975, in Cape Girardeau.

Pace was owner/operator of Fireside Mercantile and an installer/technician for Culligan Water before retiring. He was a member of Father's Arms Fellowship.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Vietnam.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra; four sons, Tommy (Arlie) Pace Jr. of Festus, Mo., Damon (Brenda) Pace of Fredericktown, Mo., Jonathon (Patti) Pace of Silver Spring, Md., Jeremy Pace of Washington, D.C.; three daughters, Robin (Dan) DeClue of Manchester, Mo., Amanda (Terry) Smith of Scott City, Kathryn (Jared) Griffin of Chaffee, Mo.; and a sister, Sue Cox of Owensville,

Also 14 grandchildren, Samuel, Jordan, Mackenzie, Brooklyn, Jessica, Amanda and Rebecca Pace, Benjamin and Madeline DeClue, Ryan DeHart, Paige Smith and Chloe, Clair and Liam Griffin; and two great-grandsons, Ethan and Tucker.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Michael and

Lee.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Kenny Strong officiating.
