ROCKVIEW, Mo. -- Tom Miller, 74, of Rockview died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2001, at St. Francis Medical Center. He was born Dec. 10, 1926, son of Earl and Emma Smith Miller. ROCKVIEW, Mo. -- Tom Miller, 74, of Rockview died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2001, at St. Francis Medical Center.

He was born Dec. 10, 1926, son of Earl and Emma Smith Miller.

He and Kathryn Caul were married Aug. 12, 1948 .

He served in World War II in the United States Navy and worked as an engineer for Frisco Railroad Company in Chaffee, Mo., before retiring.

Miller was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Rockview. He was also a member of Chaffee VFW Post 3127 and the Cape Girardeau chapter of Disabled American Veterans.

Survivors include his wife; one son, Tom Miller of Cape Girardeau; one daughter, Cheryl Kern of New Hamburg, Mo.; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, a brother and two daughters.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Marty Blakey officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau with a graveside service by Chaffee VFW Post 3127.
