DEXTER -- Tom Black, 43, of Dexter died Saturday, Aug. 28, 1999, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born Dec. 25, 1955, at Dexter, son of Marjorie Jarrell and Johnny Thomas Black. He and Cynthia Turner were married July 2, 1983, at Dexter.
He was a former resident of the Bloomfield community. He was an employee of Arvin Automotive at Dexter, a UAW member and a member of the Dexter Eagles Club 4062.
He is survived by his wife; a stepson, Donnie Greenwalt of Dexter; his mother, Marjorie Black; a brother, Johnny D. Black; and a sister, Connie Wills, all of Bloomfield.
Visitation will be after noon Wednesday at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home at Dexter.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dale Grissom officiating.
