CHARLESTON -- Tishe Elizabeth Edwards, 87, of Charleston died Friday, Feb. 26, 1993 at her home. She was born June 7, 1905 in Waverly, Tenn., daughter of John Robert and Lola Martha White Marable. She had lived in Mississippi County since 1918. She attended First Christian Church of Charleston, a member of the Order of Eastern Star and was employed at Buckner-Ragsdale as a seamstress for a number of years...

CHARLESTON -- Tishe Elizabeth Edwards, 87, of Charleston died Friday, Feb. 26, 1993 at her home.

She was born June 7, 1905 in Waverly, Tenn., daughter of John Robert and Lola Martha White Marable.

She had lived in Mississippi County since 1918. She attended First Christian Church of Charleston, a member of the Order of Eastern Star and was employed at Buckner-Ragsdale as a seamstress for a number of years.

She married Crawford Edwards. He preceded her in death Sept. 23, 1966.

She is survived by one son, Crawford Edwards, St. Louis; two daughters, Peggy Edwards White, Charleston, Jo Wheatley, Warren, Mich.; one sister, Lorene Drury of Cape Girardeau; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Two brothers and one sister preceded her in death.

Friends may call from 4:30-8 p.m. Monday at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. J.L. Laughlin, pastor of the First Christian Church of Charleston, officiating.

Burial will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
