THEBES, Ill. -- Tina M. Hale Sissom, 42, of Thebes died Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2007, at her home. She was born Feb. 11, 1964, in Chicago Heights, daughter of Robert Monroe and Kathe Matz Hale. THEBES, Ill. -- Tina M. Hale Sissom, 42, of Thebes died Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2007, at her home.

She was born Feb. 11, 1964, in Chicago Heights, daughter of Robert Monroe and Kathe Matz Hale. She married James B. Sissom March 28, 1998.

Mrs. Sissom was employed by Kagmo Electric Motor Co. She was a member of Apostolic Lighthouse United Pentecostal Church and Thebes Women's Club.

She is survived by her husband, James B. Sissom of Thebes; two daughters, Talina Baugher (D.J.) Dodson and Colleen Sissom (Simon Miller) of Olive Branch, Ill.; three sons, Kegan Hale of Thebes, Derek (Kristie) Sissom of O'Fallon, Mo., Jay Sissom of Ullin, Ill.; three granddaughters, Dannie Dale Dodson, Aizlyn Marie Dodson and Ambry Dawn Miller, all of Olive Branch, and a grandson, Caden Alex Miller of Olive Branch.

Also surviving is her mother, Kathe Hale of Thebes; a sister, Hope McHughes of Thebes; five brothers, Robert G. Hale of Olive Branch, David, Thomas, Ronald and Randy Hall, all of Thebes; special friends, Tanda Vaughn of Olive Branch, Tara Story and Vicki Woodard of Thebes, Lee Coleson of Herrin, Ill., Jesse Berra of Texas; a special angel, Theresa Phillips of Tamms, Ill.; nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her father, Bob Hale; grandparents, Tom and Susie Hale; a brother, Larry Peter Hale; and three uncles, Dick, Dewey and Tom Hale.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jimmie Monahan officiating. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery at Thebes.
