SIKESTON -- Funeral service for Timmy Lynn Bissel of Sikeston will be held at 1 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Chapel in East Prairie. The Revs. Michael Collier and Mike Johnson will officiate, with burial in Essex City Cemetery.

Bissel, 17, died Saturday, Nov. 12, 1994, from injuries received in an accidental shooting.

He was born March 6, 1977, in Sikeston, son of James E. and Mable Joyce Bissel.

Bissel was employed at Ponderosa in Miner.

Survivors include his father of New Madrid; his mother, Mable Wood of Sikeston; two brothers, James Bissel Jr. of St. Louis, Tommy Bissel of Sikeston; a sister, Diane Bissel of Sikeston; paternal grandparents, Earl and Imogene Bissel of New Madrid; maternal grandparents, Raymond L. Ross of Senatobia, Miss., Myrtle Bone of Florida; maternal great-grandmothers, Martha Schooler of Florida and Mrs. M.B. Ross of Senatobia.
