ANNA, Ill. -- Tim Ross White, 85, of Anna, died Friday, March 7, 1997, at his home.
He was born March 25, 1911 in West Frankfort, Ill., son of John Ross and Agnes Neal White.
He married Montell Pearson July 12, 1934 in Ullin, Ill. She survives.
White was a retired yardmaster for the GM&O Railroad. He was a Methodist.
He is survived by a son, Larry White of Cairo; a sister, Lovie Smith of Long Beach, Calif.; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister and a brother.
Service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Lutz & Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna, with the Rev. Garnett Mitchell officiating. Interment will be in the Blairsville Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Monday.
