Tillman E. Wills, 85, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, May 19, 2000, at his residence. He was born March 24, 1915, at the Daisy community, son of Purvis and Ida Engelmann Wills. He and Glenda Thompson were married Nov. 7, 1936. Wills graduated from the Cape Girardeau Business College and taught at Bloomeyer for two years. Tillman E. Wills, 85, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, May 19, 2000, at his residence.

He was born March 24, 1915, at the Daisy community, son of Purvis and Ida Engelmann Wills. He and Glenda Thompson were married Nov. 7, 1936.

Wills graduated from the Cape Girardeau Business College and taught at Bloomeyer for two years. He worked for 53 years with the former Harris Motor Co. and B & H Automotive Supply. When he retired in 1985, he was the purchasing agent for all B & H locations.

In 1938 he became a member of Centenary United Methodist Church. There he taught adult Sunday school classes and served as an usher for many years. He was a member of the men's club and a former church board member.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Larry G. Wills of Parker, Colo.; three daughters, Judi Faulkner of Kingston, Ga., Vickie Kain of Cobden, Ill., and Janet Watkins of Blue Springs; a sister, Belva Wills of Cape Girardeau; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. The Rev. Clayton Smith and the Rev. Jim Sanderson will officiate, with burial in Cape Girardeau County Memorial Park.
