MOREHOUSE -- Thurman Walter Graham Sr., 84, of Morehouse died Monday, May 29, 2000, at his home. He was born Jan. 14, 1916, in Lilbourn, son of Walter and Norella McCauley Graham. He and Minnie Louella Houchin were married July 22, 1935, in New Madrid. She died July 31, 1980...

MOREHOUSE -- Thurman Walter Graham Sr., 84, of Morehouse died Monday, May 29, 2000, at his home.

He was born Jan. 14, 1916, in Lilbourn, son of Walter and Norella McCauley Graham. He and Minnie Louella Houchin were married July 22, 1935, in New Madrid. She died July 31, 1980.

Survivors include five sons, Albert Graham of Canalou, Clay, Thurman "T.W.", Lawrence and Donald Graham, all of Sikeston; seven daughters, Kathrine Greene, Nadine Rogers, Frances Henson, Judy Reynolds, Pauline Ward, Mary Pick and Edna Bradshaw, all of Sikeston.

Also surviving is a brother, Theodore Graham of Tamms, Ill.; a sister, Marie Watkins of Morley; 60 grandchildren, including Dale Graham whom he raised; 80 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, four brothers, a sister, and four grandchildren.

Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Don Russell and the Rev. Ronnie Ledbetter will officiate. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery at Sikeston.
