SCOTT CITY -- Thressia A. Hamilton, 66, of Renault, Ill., formerly of Scott City, died Wednesday, April 30, 1997.
She was born Feb. 20, 1931, in Fornfelt, daughter of Clarence and Alma Hoffman Jackson. She married Don G. Hamilton.
Hamilton was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel, and American Legion Auxiliary 1215, both in Renault.
Survivors include her husband; four daughters, Barbara Johnson of Abilene, Kan., Donna Fensterman of Worden, Ill., Brenda Wetzler of Fults, Ill., Mary Moll of Red Bud, Ill.; four sons, Clarence and David Hamilton of Ruma, Ill., Don Hamilton of Fults, Jimmy Hamilton of Prairie du Rocher, Ill.; four sisters, Lillian Blattel of Cape Girardeau, Rose Kjer and Martha Martin of Scott City, Florence Harris of Troy, N.C.; two brothers, Vincent Jackson of Affton, Clarence Jackson of Thebes, Ill.; and 22 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, son, and granddaughter.
Friends may call at Quernheim Funeral Home in Waterloo, Ill., from 3-9 p.m. today, and Saturday from 8-9 a.m.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Church in Prairie du Rocher. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Renault.
