Thomas Turner

FARMINGTON, Mo. -- Thomas Vern Turner, 78, of Farmington passed away Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010.

Survivors include his children, Gary Turner (Kathy) of Jackson, Vern Turner (Angie) of Farmington, Susan White of O'Fallon, Mo., Michael Marler of Colorado Springs, Colo., Thomas Turner (Kelly) of Nashville, Tenn.; two brothers, Paul Turner of Farmington, Donald Turner of Millersville; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

A gathering of family and friends is scheduled from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the VFW hall, 814 E. Karsch Blvd. in Farmington.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, HospiceCare Inc. or any organization serving underprivileged children.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cozean Memorial Chapel in Farmington.
