Thomas O. Doughty, 80, 711 S. Pacific, died Wednesday, June 9, 1993, at his home.
He was born Sept. 20, 1912, at Charleston, son of Oscar and Myrtle Maynard Doughty.
He worked as an engineer at the Southeast Missouri State University power plant for 27 years.
He married Ruby A. Graden Jan. 1, 1942, in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include his wife; three sisters, Mildred Kerr, Elsie Funk and Emma Lee Berry, all of Cape Girardeau.
He was preceded in death by a son and two sisters.
He was a World War II Army Medical Corps veteran, and a member of VFW Post 3838, Disabled American Veterans, and Paralyzed American Veterans.
Friends may call today from 4-8 p.m. at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel.
Funeral service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. James Caughlan officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, with a VFW graveside service.
