JEMISON, Ala. -- Thomas Allen Miller of Jemison, 54, died Sunday, May 2, 2021, surrounded by his loved ones.
He was born in Cape Girardeau on March 20, 1967, to Richard and Patricia Miller and attended Cape Girardeau Central High School.
Thomas worked in the restaurant industry in Gulf Shores, Alabama, for many years. He moved to Alabama and worked in the restaurant and in the RV leisure sales and service industries. Tom enjoyed fishing, golf and grilling and loved his family and friends.
Thomas is survived by his loving wife, Wendy Miller; children, Jessica (Cory) Ray of Caryville, Florida, Dwayne (Amanda) Clark of Jemison, Sara Curry of Calera, Alabama, Justin Sims of Mobile, Alabama, Jonathan Sims of Centerville, Alabama, and Casey Miller of Pensacola, Florida. Seven grandchildren stole "Papa T's heart," Devan, Logan, Aleigha, Ryan, Alexis, Rebecca and Owen. He is also survived by his mother, Patricia S. Miller-Williams of Cape Girardeau; brother, Steven (Susan) Miller of Jackson; sister, Cathy (John) Dirnberger of St. Charles, Missouri; and a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins who will greatly miss him.
Tom was predeceased by his father, Richard E. Miller.
There will be services at a later date.
