Thomas LeaVelle, 74, of Advance, died Thursday, Jan. 19, 1995, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Nov. 29, 1920, in Scotland, Ark., son of John Irvin and Ossie Brents LeaVelle. He and Dorothy Rogers were married Nov. 10, 1960, at Bloomfield.
LeaVelle was a retired carpenter, and member of Full Gospel Tabernacle in Advance.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, James and John LeaVelle of Florence, Ore., Steve Simmons of Advance; a daughter, Teresa Wallace of Florence; a brother, Ray LeaVell of Port St. Joe, Fla.; four sisters, Lila Eubanks of Kennett, Lola Spence and Erval Mueller of Cleveland, Ark., Juanita Jeris of Mt. Vernon, Mo.; six grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. J.D. Smith officiating. Burial will be in Baker Cemetery at Marble Hill.
