WEINGARTEN -- Thomas M. Korenak, 39, of Weingarten died Monday, Aug. 11, 1997, at Ste. Genevieve Care Center in Ste. Genevieve.
He was born November 5, 1957, in Poplar Bluff, the son of Paul and Adeline Safreno Korenak. On Oct. 24, 1981, he married Sarah L. Stoll in Ste. Genevieve.
He graduated from St. Vincent Seminary High School in Cape Girardeau in 1975.
He was a carpenter and part owner of Precision Construction.
He belonged to Our Lady Help of Christians in Weingarten.
Survivors include his wife; his father of Elsinore; two sons, Dane and Trent Korenak of Weingarten; three daughters, Addie, Elle and Jacie Korenak of Weingarten; two brothers, Mike Korenak of Bloomfield and Valentine Korenak of St. Louis; four sisters, Christine Korenak of St. Louis, Antonia Grojean of Sikeston, Denise Thompson of Elsinore and Ramona Slayton of Union; and a stepmother, Mary Korenak of Elsinore.
His mother and a sister preceded him in death.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Wednesday at Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady Help of Christians in Weingarten. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
