Thomas P. Grantham, 77, of Jackson died Sunday, Nov. 5, 2023, at his residence.
He was born July 2, 1946, in St. Louis to Duell Ray and Jean Pauline Browning Grantham.
He and Donna Shivelbine were married Nov. 9, 1968, in Cape Girardeau.
Thomas received a bachelor's degree from Southeast Missouri State University in business. He was an executive for NAPA in the auto parts industry throughout the Midwest.
He was a member of the Cape Girardeau Noon Lions Club. He also served on the board of the Jackson R-2 Foundation. He served as a volunteer driver with Meals on Wheels and American Cancer Society. He was president and board member of Glenn House. He was a participant and instructor for Porsche Club of America and an amateur sports car racer with Sports Car Club of America. He was an avid cyclist.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Grantham of Jackson; son, Todd (Alexis Contos) Grantham of Austin, Texas; daughter, Shelley (Joel) Nierenberg of Montclair, New Jersey; six grandchildren, Fletcher, Callen, Tag, Sutton, Dahlia and Judah; sister-in-law, Kay (Lynn) Davidson of Cedar Hill, Texas; brother-in-Law, Bill (Christie) Shivelbine of Cape Girardeau; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 10, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau.
Funeral will follow at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 10, at the church, with the Rev. Paul Short officiating. Burial will be at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson, along with his parents and maternal lineage.
